IT SUPPORT POSITION

The Role

Information & Communication Technology support volunteers are required solid skills in:

  • MAC and PC, with experience across various applications. Skills required include Mac Desktop Support Skills.
  • Troubleshooting various applications
  • Knowledge and experience with Apple Remote Desktop
  • Working With Mac Software Update Strategies

Requirements

  • DCSI Police Clearance *
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • You will need to provide your driver’s licence and birth certificate (or extract), or a current passport

 

SERVICE DELIVERY POSITION

Role
  • Supporting Barossa Lower north Futures mentoring for young people from ages 13 – 25 andfrom diverse backgrounds.
  • Assist in encouraging young people to maintain contact witheducation, training and employment.
  • Provide advice on tools and resources offered by theRegional Youth Bus.
  • Activities are based in communities, schools and other sites throughout the council regions.
  • Hours to be negotiated with successful applicants and will be on a rostered ongoing basis
Requirements
  • A desire to want to support young people reach their potential, previous experience not essential
  • Working with Children Check
  • DCSI Police Clearance *
  • Friendly and polite manner
  • Reliable and trustworthy

 

BUS DRIVER POSITION

Role

The regional youth bus is not a passenger bus. The driver will be required to meet at a location the Bus is stored which will be advised to the volunteer when rostered to drive. The bus will then be driven to the location of the activity where you will park and assist where possible in setting up / packing up for the event. During the program session the bus driver is encouraged (although not required) to join in with any of the youth activities.

Please note all Barossa Lower North Futures Volunteers will need to fill in an application form have and Interview with the coordinator and have a current Working with Children Check and National Criminal Check* (or be willing to obtain one)

* May be paid by the Barossa Lower North Futures. Details to be provided on expression of interest
